A charter boatman

Rashid owned a charter business that he often ran for intrepid holiday goers looking for some fun adventure times away from the resorts. With the booming influx of fresh tourists every year, it was a good time for him to earn some money. The 40 year old brown skinned islander already had all the infrastructure he would ever need to keep afloat when he started out years ago, and with the help of foreign technology that digitized his business, he had been swimming in easy profits ever since. He could host up to a dozen passengers at a time. Fishing trips. Diving trips. Ferry runs. Island exploration tours. He could do it all with his vast many years of knowing the local waters as a fisherman many years ago, keeping his time table in a constantly filled up schedule all year round. Just as he did before his rise from rags to to fortune, he mostly did everything alone, with his 20 year old son, Nasir, occasionally arriving to help out with the larger groups.

Of course, he was not just in it for the money.
