A Witch Doctor's 'Blessings'

A middle aged local man known as Hasan worked as one of the jetty crew. He claimed himself to be a local witch doctor who is familiar with his 'culture's spiritual well being'. Whenever a boat comes in, he would perform a seemingly mystical but truthfully fake magic rite as soon as it docked in plain view of the arriving guests. He made sure that they could see him throw uncooked rice at the boat after finishing the tie ups. Anyone who asked, he would tell them that he was reinforcing the 'magic barrier' that kept the boat safe from accidents and bad weather. Those who insisted to keep speaking to him, he would give them the same story. He was a spell caster who specialized in bringing good fortune and warding off bad luck. If there was a woman he wanted to fuck, he would focus on entrancing her with fake stories of the sea and the foundation of his powers before taking her away for brief periods of time to have his fun.
