A Town

As panic started to build within, Vanessa started walking towards the nearest edge of the field. She called out for help a few times, but each time she was met with complete silence. As she traversed the large field, the panic and dread started to form. Her entire workforce, whom she trusted, turned on her and basically left her for dead in the middle of absolutely nowhere.

Vanessa had walked through multiple fields, taking her about 30 minutes, when she spotted a slightly large village in the distance. She quickly hurried over there, hoping to find someone who could help her. Her tight pantsuit flapped around in the mud, the expensive materials had been completely ruined and made Vanessa look ridiculous.

It took Vanessa about 15 minutes to cross the fields to get to the village, as she passed through a walkway onto the mainroad leading into the town. Vanessa looked a complete mess by the time she'd entered the town, her tight pants were covered in mud and her hair was a total mess.

The town was fairly large, with tons of very expensive looking houses. As Vanessa got closer to the centre, she could tell that this town was very upper class. There were designer shops everywhere, with very high class people strolling about the town. She was in luck, Vanessa thought to herself, her dipshit employees had dumped her in a rich town! She was with her own kind!

Vanessa smiled, feeling as though her situation just got better. She walked further into the town, not knowing anything about this place and having zero cares.
