A Test

"Before you can truly serve me you must first prove your worth. Come with me." Your new king began leaving the room, beckoning you to follow him. As you walk through the halls of the citadel your king continues to speak. "You see I developed a second monster using the same process I was using to create you, to use as a backup in case something went wrong your during your creation. However when I noticed that the two of you were developing in different ways I thought of a better use for it. It will serve as your final test, you will face it combat. If you defeat it, then you shall be worthy of being of my champion. But if you lose, then that honor will go to your opponent".

After hearing this you are ecstatic. The shokan live for the thrill of combat. You would crush your challenger like a bug beneath your feet and prove to your king that you are only one worth of being his champion. You finally stop a set of large stone doors. "Enter, I shall return with your opponent shortly". At those words your king left and the doors in front of you opened by themselves. As you stepped through the doors you found yourself in a large arena made of the same smooth black stone that the rest the citadel was made of. The scent of blood and gore clung to nearly very brick in this arena, indicating that it had been well used. As you finish examining the arena, the doors on the adjacent side of the began to open. I dropped into a fighting stance as your opponent came into view.
