A Surviving Jedi Knight

Ten years ago, deep in the outer rim on the grassland planet of Dantooine, Markus Jarrett found himself in charge of a small recon unit of clones. As Master Kenobi lead the 212th batallion to Utapau to destroy General Grevious and effectively end the war once and for all, Markus lead his recon divison throughout the planet clearing out any areas that other separatist leaders could still use as a base to hide should they escape from Kenobi's assualt. If all went well, they'd all be arrested but the council knew the separatists were a slick bunch who often evaded capture.

Then all at once Markus felt a strong disturbance in the ****. His head swelled with the screams of his brother and sisters before all being cut silent. He stumbled forward while his clone commander pulled put a hologram of the emperor himself simply stating, "Execute order 66,"

"Yes my lord," The clone replied without hesitation, he turned to his men and nodded before they ran over to Markus raising their blasters, "I'm sorry sir," The commander said in a hollow tone,

"Trooper? Put your weapons down!" Markus exclaimed,

"We are no longer required to follow your orders," The trooper replied before opening fire.

The jedi knight wasted not a second before pulling out his saber and deflecting the in coming shots. Two flew back and killed their clone shooters. In a swift smooth motion the knight sliced down three more clones. The commander took three rapid shots grazing his generals arm before he felt himself lift into the air. Markus extended his saber and the pulled back forcing the clone onto his blade.

With the squad killed Markus was safe for the moment but he knew the rest of the recon divison would hunt for him soon. Taking his time the knight snuch his way back to the landing zone, fighting his way to his starfighter and finally taking off, fleeing to safety. The young man had more questions than ever in his life and he wasnt sure who to turn to.

In the following days Markus found a distress call urging all jedi to return to the temple yet only a few days later it was replaced with a warning to stay away. Master Kenobi himself aired a message warning all survivors to hide, and trust in the **** as the order had fallen and the sith were now in control. Markus was in shock and he could feel himself even starting to touch into his anger for what had happened.

Years passed by as he moved from planet to planet hiding from the empire while searching for any survivors from his fallen order to no avail. He knew those who survived would hide well, and without any assistance he didnt have a chance. It was when he stopped on Alderaan did he find out about a hint of the rebellion. Evemtually he worked his was up and spoke with senator Organa himself and he learned to his relief that he learned that the senator was indeed a loyal member of the republic and didnt believe the lies about the jedi. That was the day Markus Jarrett joined the rebellion and the day he swore to take down the emperor himself.

Now after years of waiting and speaking in secret came the day to make their first strike against the empire and to become a military **** against them.
