A Pile of Papers Smacks Your Head

It does not hurt when it happens but you are still surprised and caught off guard when a thin sheet of papers comes in contact with the top of your head. You shift in your chair to look at whoever struck you and are surprised to see that blonde girl from Orientation, Harmony Ashcroft, glaring down at you haughtily with her green eyes. "Professor Grinder asked if one of us would give you copies of our notes from class," she says, her voice somehow both formal and filled with disgust at the same time, "So here they are, Worm."

She all but thrust the papers at your nose and you take them, looking up at her in confusion as you ask, "Worm?"

Harmony points down at your Wyvern pin before waving her hand at the rest of the room. "You're in the Worm House," she says, drawing sour looks from the rest of your companions, "So that makes you a Worm as well. Be glad I've lowered myself to visit you."

"And now this is happening," you hear Vicki grumble under her breath.

If Harmony heard that as well, she makes no comment on it (and seems to be pointedly ignoring that Vicki, Liam and Keira are even there). Amelia, however, quickly stands up, glarring daggers at the bustier and haughtier woman as she growls, "You got some nerve comin' in here to say that kinda stuff."

Harmony gives Amelia a baleful glance and replies, "Ah yes. The girl from the Harker family. Your score was 79 so I suppose I can spare enough effort to say it would make sense for the child of a pair of Slut Doctors to end up here. More so than him."

If the mood had gone cold at Harmony's intervention, her last statement which she emphasizes by gesturing in your direction again has dropped it to an arctic level of icy. Amelia shakes in place, her fact turning a deep red as she closes her eyes and seems to be making a lot of effort to take slow, deep breaths. Liam suddenly stands up, stepping between the two ladies as he interjects, "Hey, look... you dropped off what you came to deliver, so maybe you should just go now."

Harmony gives Liam a look as if she has just stuck her hand in an open, full garbage can, lips twisting down into a frown as she obviously feels **** to respond to someone she openly considers beneath her. "Very well," she says before looking at you again, "I hope you can be bothered to crawl out of your hole for the next class. I shall not be merciful enough to visit this place again."

What a charming first impression she makes, you think to yourself as you watch her turn and stalk off. Though admittedly, given how shapely her ass is, there is now a second reason why it is nice watching her leave. Your attention quickly returns to Amelia, however, as Keira stands up to place a hand on her shoulder and asks, "You okay?"

"I'm... fine," Amelia finally replies after taking several more deep breaths, "Just... sorry."

With that, the slender girl turns and walks in the direction of her room. Liam and Keira share a look, giving you the impression they want to follow Amelia and you start to stand, thinking that perhaps you should as well.

"Wait."

The three of you are caught by surprise and look back over at Vicki, who is looking in the same direction the rest of you were as she says, "Let her be. When she gets like this she just needs a little alone time to cool off. She... thinks it's better than causing trouble for others."

"That was still uncalled for," Keira says, "She shouldn't be made to feel ashamed of her parents being Tantric Healers. Getting an actual doctorate in that is actually supposed to be super hard!"

You decide this is probably not the best time to mention that you can attest to her mother being skilled at handling super hard things.

"She's Phoenix House through and through, love," Liam replies, "Always looking down on everything that isn't theirs."

"It's not like she's upset at it..." Vicki says, visibly squirming in discomfort at having to speak up, "Just... it bothers her when people try to insist she should be bothered by it... y'know?"

Liam and Keira share another look, say their good-byes to you and Vicki and leave it at that.

You consider your options. You can follow Liam and Keira, since they are headed back to the room you and Liam share, follow after Amelia anyway despite Vicki's advice, or stick around, as the sidelong glances Vicki is shooting at you while trying to regain her disinterested looking poise seem to imply she may have may more to say to you now that it is a one-on-one situation.
