A Phone Call

It's a calling. It's night time and you're about to sleep, but an hour or so with Tai shouldn't be a problem.

"Good evening, Tai." you greet him, beating him to the punch.

"Hey, Mei. Were you about to sleep? I just kind of wanted to talk." Tai responds, a bit awkward.

"What's up? Is anything wrong?" You may have been worrying less, but you have become quite protective of Tai's well-being.

"It's nothing drastic or anything, I just got curious. I mean, I wanted to keep it in for when I get there but I'm way too excited!"

You lie down and ask him what is it really about. He suddenly begins to excitedly tell you about all his plans while the two of you are together. You thought he would break out the question over the phone and you're relieved but a bit disappointed he didn't. Tai eventually finishes running his mouth, but by now you're quite sleepy and soft from hearing him speak so casually and upbeat. You feel like it's your turn so you ask him:
