A Lonely Game Maker...

Your name is Oscar Knox.

You’re rather fortunate man, you have developed and created some of the best indie video games on the market as of late. As a result, you are rather wealthy, but not everything in your life is sunshine and rainbows. This is mainly due to your upbringing as a military brat, you see growing up you've always had problems making friends due to your family constantly moving around every two years, as per the normal demands of the U.S. Army. This unfortunately made you shrink in and close yourself off to the outside world and thus it became rather difficult to interact and talk with people once you became an adult. Due to you not seeing the point of socializing with other people with the mindset that your not going to see them again in two years.

And thus, because of your own social difficulties and personal shame for not creating those important social skills, you chose to reserve yourself and stay quiet and simply watch everyone around you. As result, you notice the many mistakes, flaws, and mishaps that others have made before and around you, as result you became much wiser than most of your own peers and matured much faster than others. Making you distance yourself even more from those of your own age group, it wasn’t till you became an adult, that you truly began to actually interact with people. Even though you have gotten significantly better with personal interaction, you are still rather socially awkward and have a tendency to run your mouth at times.

That said, ever since coming into your great wealth, it has been sort of blessing that you did not have that many friends outside of your own family, as you have seen what happens when people get instantly wealthy in such a short period of time. Many people, some people you don’t even know, come begging for money for all sorts of reasons. This combined with your own personal habit of people watching, has made you rather stoic and sarcastic in personality and cautious about the ways of the world.

However, being alone isn’t so bad, especially with all the insanity that constantly keeps showing up on the news. That said, it still gets rather lonely for you, for even though you do what you love in the form of creating video games and designing characters. You are still rather lonesome in this world, though you living out in the middle of the woods of the Appalachian wilderness in the West Virginian hills may not exactly be helping, nor is the fact that you live in a castle like mansion of your own design, with said mansion’s emptiness reminding you of your loneliness every now and then.

Despite all this, you try to look on the brighter side of things in life.

You’re in good health, thanks to you constantly keeping yourself fit with daily exercises, you may not have a six pack or anything, but your a sure as hell in better shape than most. You’ve gone across the world, thanks to your travels and has a military brat you see much of the world and even after becoming an adult you still travel the world and collected many knickknacks that decorate your entire home, making it a bit of a mishmash of all different types of items and souvenirs throughout your travels. Your wealthy, thanks to your own creations in your own imagination and your determination, you have earned a great fortune that many would love to have.

Honestly, you don’t really have much to complain about other than being rather lonely in this world.

That said, this all changed tonight.

For little did you know, you would be approached by an unknown email to a rather Bizarre website claiming to offer what can be best described by you as an adult parody trading card game that seems to be mixed with Pokémon.

Out of curiosity and pure boredom, you click on the web link within the odd email and were taken to a rather bizarre website. You of course, knew that you were most likely clicking on a web link that most likely lead you to a scam website, but considering your loneliness and your rather bored apathy with life, you decided to risk it and clicked on the link.

What you are greeted with was rather odd…

the link that you had clicked immediately brought you to a rather cartoony looking webpage that seemed to cross the black and gold art deco style of the 1920's with the famous cartoonish flourish of signature to the Walt Disney company to create a rather unique type of online store.

Speaking of which, this online store initially seemed to be a legitimate online store, the products however were rather strange. The many different products of the store was offering on hand, all seemed to be akin to action figure packs, with one figure and two accessories.

However, you not really trusting the site, ignored these other products and simply navigated the online webpage and made your way to the object of interest that you were offered freely in the Email. The RSI Bot Pack.

Once reaching the pack you were greeted with a rather odd design choice as the pack itself is displayed much like the rest of the stores overall 1920's theme and as a result looks much like an old pack of baseball cards that used to come with gum. As the Pack's cover has a simple tricolor design with a blue top with the slogan "inked dreams come true" written in gold. This blue bit then soon gives way to a diagonal white stripe with the RSI logo written across in gold as well. Finally, below the white stripe is a bright red portion that is covered in silver stars.

Despite, the odd choice in design for this product, you clicked on it and put it in the online store shopping card immediately went to check out and entered your personal info and the free promo code that you got the email, before clicking order now.

However, as soon as you did. Your laptop screen instantly went black, surprising you and shocking you slightly, you tried everything to turn the computer back on and restore the screen, but nothing that you tried to bring the screen back online.

This led to frustrated and rather angered at the fact that you may have to go out and buy a new computer as a result of most likely infecting your computer with a dangerous virus. They’re just glad that you used your personal laptop that you mainly used for video games instead of your important work computer that contain most of your in progress game designs.

So, frustrated and angered, you left your laptop running on your coffee table, before going back upstairs to your room to go to bed. As you did, you made a note to yourself to trash the laptop in the morning. However, as you make your way up to the master bedroom, you failed to notice several things.
