A Helluva

When Elizabeth got home, it was clear Black Jack had gotten high on crack. He was hyperactive, jittery, talking to her in gibberish sometimes. She regarded him with sadness. It was clear the stress that his past life on the streets had created, coupled with stress of adjusting to life as a man of the house and a future father of a child, and his own history of addiction, was overwhelming the man.

After the comedown phase, she got him to agree to go into an inpatient facility for 90 days to get clean. He was, after all, the father of her unborn child. During that time, Elizabeth would need to figure out what she truly wanted out of a man. But she knew she deserved better than this. And who knew, perhaps in 90 days, Black Jack would be what she needed.
