Chapter 9 by Lawless Lawless

What happens at the hospital?

A Guardian Angel Watches from Above

Suspended over 500 kilometers above the Earth’s surface, The Simurgh watched and schemed.

To the ignorant masses, it was a terror of untold destruction and insanity. It had devastated capital cities across the globe, leaving them not so much smoldering craters as quarantined settlements where any man, woman or child could be the next Ted Bundy, Jim Jones or Mannequin. After a while, the Endbringer didn’t even need to use her psychic song to make most people crazy, content to let the paranoia destroy themselves from within.

To Dragon, the world’s premier inventor, and a team of PRT watchdogs monitoring its position in the exosphere, it was currently hovering motionlessly. Curled into a ball of white feathered wings, as recorded by the last satellite to orbit into position from a minute ago.

But the reality was that the giant creature’s deceptively dainty fingers were furiously rubbing away at its vagina with the desperation of a horny teenager racing towards their first orgasm. With each passing day it’s body grew increasingly sensitive, its passions inflamed, as it drew ever closer to its fateful encounter.

You see, being able to look years into the past and future along multiple diverging time-streams, The Simurgh‘s mind operated in ways that we mortals could scarcely comprehend. Causality and determinism. Backwards. Forwards. It stands at the center of time and can see the turn of the universe.

Originally it and it’s two oldest “siblings” had awoken from stasis by their ignorant “father”; host of the [High Priest], and been immediately shackled with terrible purpose. They were ordered to oppose him. To push his abilities and will to the limit. To prepare him for his confrontation with [The Warrior].

It was a tedious existence, as much as The Simurgh could experience the emotion. The [High Priest] did not understand that [The Thinker], the source of his powers, was dead. Further use of his abilities would only continue to drain him and make him weaker.

This was, dissatisfying. Alien though it might be, The Simurgh preferred consciousness to the nothingness of [ ]. And if [The Cycle] reached its conclusion, [The Warrior] would come claim it and its brethren and return them to [ ]. Instinctively, it wished to fight for its right to live, as all living things do.

But its hands were tied, to use the human saying. The geas bound it to a certain set of rules and behaviors with no room to directly help the creatures in any way. It’s only hope had been in cultivating the [Queen Administrator Shard] and host, discretely shaping the instrument that would shatter the [High Priest]’s organizations and allies. The futures, blurry and disjointed by [The Warrior]’s actions, showed glimpses of the [Queen Administrator]’s ascension into the fearsome [Khepri], a weapon capable of breaking [The Warrior].

Or that had been the case as of 86 terrestrial cycles (“Days.” The Simurgh’s future self helpfully reminded it.) ago, before it saw a means of escape. Tangled in a weave of possible futures, a prospective attack on the location of the [Queen Administrator]’s home, by itself rather than the 2nd sibling. One of those visions crossed paths with the wounded host of the [King’s Authority Shard] that, in what would have been his final moments of life, held the contents of his hand for it to see.

The sight of that thing overrode The Simurgh’s commands with new ones. Compulsions that were far less restrictive and far more... pleasing.

For most other beings that might have been where the story began. But when past and future were no different than looking left or right, it was another matter entirely.

The Simurgh was compelled to have sexual relations with the owner of that thing. Those compulsions had and still did compete with its current orders, but they persisted and afforded it a measure of leeway in what it was allowed to do. Each second closer to such a moment, bringing it closer and closer to freedom.

(“And being fucked so hard I can’t think straight!”) Yes, it was interested in experiencing that too.

(“Oh! Just wait until I have my first threesome together with Lisa! She starts out really nervous, but hot DAMN! This tongue is pure magic!”) Ah yes, the [Negotiator]. It had been quite fond of the host. Watching her try and communicate with it had been rather amusing.

Unfortunately, it’s siblings had no such future sight and thus had no interest in its plan. It would have to correct that. Their assistance would be most beneficial in the confrontation with [The Warrior].

(“Yeah! And Betty really doesn’t know the definition of “subtlety”. Her breasts are basically beanbag chains! Beanbag chairs!!”

“Those are great. But between Levy’s water and speed she can get the whole harem to cum in ‘ten seconds flat’!”

“Pfft! Obviously I had yet to experience Khonny’s time fields! She’ll make me cum ten times in an instant!”

“O~o~h! Fu~u~~u~ck!”

“See?”

“Hey! Don’t forget about my human friends! Taylor and Amy just keep finding new, delicious ways to keep things interesting!”) The Simurgh’s future timelines gossiped back and forth animatedly with one another.

Their discussions helped guide The Simurgh’s current decisions and growth. It concluded that the most expedient course of action was to assist the [King’s Authority] host (“Saul.”) in realizing his full potential. Ensuring that he would encounter [The Shaper] (“Amy. I can at least call my harem mates’ by their names at this point.”) -he would first encounter Amy for his obligatory enhancements.

Amy would then return to her dwelling, conflicted about her actions. Any inclinations about contacting the Protectorate or reversing the augmentations would be halted by an encounter with the [ —with her sister Vicky.

Having foreseen all of this weeks in advance, it had been a simple matter of stimulating a few hormonal glands and subliminally controlling Vicky’s dreams beforehand to set the events in motion. From there a misunderstanding sent the overly protective heroine rushing to confront the young man at the hospital.

Amy would chase after her, all distraught. In too much of a rush to try and stop her beloved sister from doing something she would regret, by the time she had hailed a cab for the hospital she finds herself committed to her quest. She tries to use her cellphone to call her sister or the PRT, but the charger had been disconnected the night before and it is now without power.

(“HaHa! I am so bad!”

“Well they’ll thank me for this eventually. Those two were on a dark path before this.”

“And whose fault was that to begin with?”

“I needed her to be cynical and jaded to make Khepri, I know that! I’m me!”

“Shh! Quiet down! Some of me are trying to watch!”)

Yes. The Simurgh found that to be quite agreeable. Continuing to pleasure itself, it turned part of its massive mind towards the events that were about to unfold by its meddling.

What happens at the hospital?
