Most people would see that living in a glass house would be stupid. Not only could anyone see in, but how sturdy could a glass house be? What if a rock breaks it?
Of course, when presented with a ton of cash, that starts to not matter as much. I was given an amazing opportunity. Live in a glass house for a year as part of a challenge and I'd be given a condo for free with the taxes paid off, along with $100k. I wouldn't even have to pay for food or gas while in the glass house. It was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up, so I didn't.
I signed the contract and moved into the house. Surprisingly, it was in a normal neighborhood. A bunch of opaque houses throughout it. Mine was the only one that was made of glass and that didn't have any plants nearby to block peoples view of it. I was just guessing but I had a feeling that I had the least amount of furniture. I asked if I could move some in from my current apartment but was told no. Apparently, they didn't want the furniture to get in the way of people watching me or it'd ruin the challenge. Even my bed and blanket were somehow see thru.
Despite how my temporarily new home looked, I didn't give up. I grabbed a book and started reading, hoping to not give any attention to those outside looking in. If I'm lucky, they'll leave before I have to pee or shower.
