A Familiar Face

Everyone in the pen stared at Shannon. There were Humans, of course. But, Shannon saw other races such as a pair of Torguran traders. A race of warmongering reptilian underground dwellers. Judging by the rather long open cut on their right shoulder, Shannon knew that they belonged to the Blood Claw Clan. She decided to keep her distance. Next, she saw a well known Kymarian swindler Raif Zhyr, who is known for hopping the galaxy pirating ships and talking people out of their money.

The Human couple seemed taken aback, but level-headed as they studied their surroundings.

When Shannon approached the man of the couple, he was wearing a similar uniform to hers, but a different color scheme.

"Hello Ms." He said while casually saluting.

"I'm just a Detective." Shannon said slightly smiling given the circumstances.

"Well I'm an inspector in the Beta Wave Quadrant Galactic Station. Where do you hang your helmet?" The inspector asks.

"The Zion Quadrant Galactic Station. How did you end up here?"

"Chased down and caught this wanted criminal." The Inspector cocked his head towards the direction where a woman was sitting, huddled up against the wall.

'Raya'. Shannon guessed as she walked over to the woman who looked deep in thought.

"Raya Easton, you are un--"

"You're too late, Detective. I'm already taken." Raya said, smugly.

"Now, if you would excuse me." Raya waves Shannon away then lays her head down to "rest".
