A Dream and a Quest

Linkle woke up in a cold sweat.

It was a dream, just a dream, but sometimes dreams came true. Sometimes dreams warned of what was to come and how to prevent unspeakable horrors from happening. Linkle had heard of such dreams in the stories her grandmother told her, and in every fiber of her being she was sure that she had been given a warning.

She focused her frantic mind, grasping at the fleeting memories before her dream could disappear from her mind. In her dream ... there was a great danger. All of Hyrule was in peril, and only she could save the kingdom. She needed to follow her compass–the magical one that always led her to where she needed to be–and it would guide her to a beautiful woman. And when she found her, Linkle would need to strip her naked.

Wait … what?

But that was what the dream had said. Follow the compass to the woman, and strip her nude. And save Hyrule. Somehow. It didn't make a whole lot of sense to her, but it was her prophetic dream/quest/destiny, and she wasn't going to back down just because at first glance it seemed a bit … lewd.

With her mind settled on her mission, she got dressed. A white blouse, tight black shorts under a brown leather skirt with a green cloak over everything and a pair of trusty crossbows tucked into her thigh high boots, and she was ready to go.
