A Checkpoint
This tunnel leads into the Vaults proper, you know that, but until now you hadn't realized there was a checkpoint here. These were like miniature towns, a caravan with a gear repair shop and basic supplies at inflated prices. This one operated in the middle of a cross roads and was pretty sparse, not even any town guards to protect it...
With your abilities, setting up an ambush would be child's play and give you a place to escape in any direction if confronted. You slip against the wall, already spotting several adventurers involved around it...
It's time to hunt, claws widening now.
Do you find anything interesting?
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
