A Big Problem

Stunned by her appearance, some cowardly hid in the distance, while some stood in fear. Leaping from the fire escape to ground level, Batgirl walks towards the first man frozen in fear. Without warning, Batgirl trips over her own feet as others watch, confused and amused.

Scrambling to get to her feet, Batgirl spots the only light, illuminating the entire alley, equips a batarang and throws it, in hopes of leaving everything in darkness. The batarang bounces off the light causing Batgirl to whimper and dodge the harmless projectile. Laughing now, the gang members circle around Batgirl shoving and groping her, while she is preoccupied with why her combat skills have failed.

“She’s not so scary.”

“Are you sure this is Batgirl?”

“Yeah, I’d recognize anybody who humiliated the boss, and that’s you, girly. Get the boss out here. I’m sure he’ll have fun with you.”

Held by three gang members, Batgirl heard something big coming out from the the darkest end of the alley. Emerging from the shadows was the seven foot tall, masked gangster, Bane.
