"Hhhmm, maybe," Nadia responds, speaking in a normal tone, "but they might be too busy to do one with me at the same time."

"Or maybe they're afraid they'd fall for me," you tell her, before speaking in hushed tones, "given what I had done recently that gets you turned on."
