The technical answer to your question is no, the reason for that answer is mainly due to the fact that our creations are not just simply machines that can fall apart if not given the proper maintenance. Our creations are creations are indistinguishable from the living being, this is mainly due to a combination of magic and science that is used in the creation of our products. This thanks to this combination of magic and science that are creations become indistinguishable from their actual real-world counterparts. That being said, they lack certain needs and/or defects that the real ones may actually have that might be unique to them especially.

However, to truly answer your question as to whether or not our creations can break down, the answer is a yes. But that is only in the case of our creations suffering **** damages, such as the loss of a limb or in the worst-case scenario the destruction of the entire unit.

It is during these **** cases that maintenance will be required to fully restore the unit back to its full operating capacity. The only way to fully maintain and repair your unit in cases such an event would be to either restore them using a specialized healing pod, which we call the Robo auto doc, or to have the unit in question replaced or returned back to our manufacturing facilities to undergo a complete restoration process.
