Chad was still not quite sure what was going on here as he grabbed the die. Seeing what was happening to these guys who had already taken a turn had been unsettling, but he also had a feeling it could be worse. His gut told him that he needed to play, that fighting against this would not do him any good and his gut for the most part was usually right.

The die landed showing a four, so he grabbed the yellow pawn and moved it forwards four spaces to a blank spot. He looked around the table at the other guys here at the table. He knew everyone here, though that didn't mean any of them were his friends, they were more along the lines of acquaintances.

As he reached to grab a card he noticed that on the one side of the board their names had appeared in fancy lettering in a downwards column, and beside each name was a number which he assumed must be these points that voice mentioned.
