4. Her study session goes as normal

Meg made a point of going to as many TA study sessions as she could. They could only help her grades and she often learned more from them than she did from lecture. Her freshman English seminar was TAed by one of Havewood’s stars: Ama. She was a beautiful, dark skinned girl with natural hair and an undeniable charisma. Meg wasn’t into girls, but there was no ignoring Ama’s pull.

Her session this week was full. The class was digging through a particularly difficult section of the Odyssey and classics happened to be Ama’s area of concentration, so people were **** for her help. And she was more than happy to give it. She managed to keep the mood light and even got a few laughs from the gathered first-years as she went through the text and together the group teased out the meaning of the verses.

Halfway through, Meg checked her phone and saw that she’d gotten a text from an unknown number. It had a list of days and times. And then a follow up: “These are when my advisees and I meet. See you at as many as possible. - Dr. N” There were three blocks, one of which she already knew, two of which were new to her. She tucked her phone away, planning to mark her calendar later.

After the study session, Meg wandered out into the main quad.
