The crocodillians, along with the raptors and the humans, are the three intelligent species native to planet earth. Living along tropical and subtropical coastlines and amongst the equatorial islands, they generally have no territorial competitors. This allows them to live in relative peace. They seldom come into conflict with others simply because they seldom run across members of the other factions. They are a carnivorous species that primarily hunts in water, requiring land only for nesting and egg laying, which they do in the most isolated locations they can find. Although other species use the water for both a food source and for transportation, the crocodillians practice avoidance unless their home territory is encroached upon by exploring parties of adventurers seeking their fortunes. Both parents take a hand in nest protection and rearing the young. Their magic is limited to spells that enhance the range of their hunting skills, allowing them to sense types and numbers of other creatures at ranges of up to 50 miles in water and 10 miles ashore.
