Who gets the Orb, and what do they do with it?

28-year-old lesbian, Maria Love

Maria Love, 28 years old, lesbian wife to Samantha Love, and mother Tomas, and Alexandra Love. She is a strong willed business woman, as loving as her name would imply, but doesn't take lip from anyone (other then her wife.) "Mommy, mommy..." said little Tomas greeting his mother coming home "Oh, how my little boy?" Maria asks picking up her son. "I found a broken ball." he said "A broken ball?" she asked.

Tomas showed his mom an odd white orb he brought inside and said "It doesn't bounce." "Well not all..." Maria began but stopped, because of shock, from the orb becoming pink after she picked it up. "Wow, coool." responded Tomas.
