Finding a relic takes about 1 week. How long should Danny keeps searching for the three relics?
1 week
After wandering the ghost zone for a week, Danny found one of the relics, hidden in the basement of one of the floating ruins. The relic had a cylindrical form and was made out of stone. "To think that I've spent the entire week looking for this piece of junk." Danny picked up the ancient item and noticed a small piece of text ingrained on it. Some letters were hard to decipher, but the letter read:
"Those who seek to use the power of the forgotten ones, must be prepared to give up what is dear to them."
Without thinking about the warning too much, the young boy attached the relic to his costume belt and began making his way back to the human realm. After some time traveling, he finally stepped into the human world through the portal. Danny looked around to confirm that nothing changed before detaching the piece of stone from his belt. After inspecting it for a bit, the boy placed the artifact into a specialized metal container and locked it with a password. Danny released his power, turning back into his human form.
"I'm beat." he said to himself while stretching his arms into the air. He grabbed his cellphone off the counter to check the chat group that he, Sam and Tucker were in. The last few messages were of Sam and Tucker arranging a meeting in the local burger joint. Danny checked the time and realized that they're about to meet up in a few minutes. Wanting to apologize to Sam of how he treated her last week, the young boy quickly turned into a ghost and dashed away through the wall towards the meeting place.
After flying a couple of minutes through the town, Danny landed behind the dumpster of his favorite burger place in town. He quickly changed back into his human form and walked into the restaurant like nothing had happened. Inside there was business as usual. To his surprise, the place was quite empty, despite it being the weekend. Only a few people were having a meal, and the staff were walking around and cleaning the same table for the fifth time today. Danny looked around to see if he could spot his friends, but to no luck. He looked at his wrist watch to confirm that the time was right. After another glance, he took a seat in one of the booths.
Fifteen minutes had passed, but none of his friends entered the place since his arrival. He kept glancing at the time and the chat group waiting for a message from either one of them. He wanted to surprise them both, but it seemed like they probably had a change of plans.
