The elk never even flinched as Digit alighted on its antlers. Digit did, however, as she landed upon a piece of cool metal which sent a static shock directly into her naked ass.

As she winced and rubbed her stinging behind, she examined the offending metal. Wedged firmly onto a thin branch of the elk's antlers was a golden ring, with a diameter roughly matching the thickness of a human finger. Engraved upon the surface of the ring was a single word: Mordekai.

That's the... elk's name, I suppose? Digit scratched her fingers through her hair. Something about this felt... off, but she couldn't quite place why.

She was soon distracted from this train of thought, as her higher vantage point revealed new information about her surroundings. Behind a single row of trees, there was a large clearing, much larger than the one Digit was currently in. In hindsight, most creatures larger than a fairy wouldn't really call Digit's current environment a "clearing", as it was more of just a natural space between trees.

The nearby clearing was definitely intentional though, as it contained a modest wooden cabin with a trickling stone fountain out front. A piece of cloth hung from a line on the porch, but there were no other signs of life that Digit could make out from this distance.

[GM] You land successfully upon the elk. It is completely indifferent to your presence. As you land, you notice that there is a gold ring wedged firmly on one of its antlers, bearing the word "Mordekai".

[GM] A little ways off from you, you see a small wooden cabin with a porch on the front and a trickling fountain nearby. There is a piece of cloth hanging from a line on the porch, but the windows are dark and murky, and you don't see anyone around currently.
