* In A Dorm Room *

You wake up in a bed that is not your own, and look around the room which you realize swiftly is a Dorm Room, you lived in one for many years until you graduated from Berkley. In fact, this room is suspiciously similar, except designed in the style of Nihon*.
*(This is the Japanese word for Japan in their own language.)

You rise from your futon and stretch. This is a better start than you had expected: you had thought you would be dumped in front of Professor Oak's office or be in the body of a young male child, like in the TV show, but instead you seem to just be you: 25-year-old Hispanic woman in black cotton underwear, worn blue jeans, second hand 'Pokémon' graphic-T, and Vietnam era combat boots... The one really odd thing is you are wearing a baseball cap, one just like Ash Ketchum.

Suddenly the outer door opens and a young man who both looks and sounds disturbingly like an older 'Takeshi'/'Brock' bursts into the room. "Yolanda, what are you still doing here?!? We need to get into our 'cap & gown' and head to the graduation ceremony! You don't want to miss the Pokémon raffle do you?!" He exclaims, rushing to a closet and throwing a graduation ceremony type robe in a dry cleaner bag to you!
