Your team is a fairly typical special operations group: four standard marines counting yourself, two Flame Troopers, two medics, a 'Ghost' scout, and an XCV combat engineer.

Now to go into a little detail about each of your team members.

Andrew "Andy" Longmont: Andy was born in the former USA on Old Earth, just like you. You've served with him since basic, and know that he would have your back come hell or high water. Andy has more than a few vices, but the most serious is that he is a combat stim addict: he will use his stims without orders at the first sign of trouble. The only reason it hasn't killed him is that he's part of a special operations squad, so the medics can heal him... Under his armor, Andy is a brown haired, brown eyed, Caucasian man of around 30 years.

Nickolai "Nick Fury" Alexeiavitch Yarrick: Nickolai is from the frozen tundra of northeast Russia. He joined your squad during this latest mission after your former third marine, Julian, died fighting the Zerg. Nickolai is a huge fan of comic books and manga, and his squad name of "Nick Fury" is taken from that genre of entertainment. "Fury", (as the squad mostly calls him,) is a seriously big dude, his armor had to be custom fitted. On a more personal note, he is Caucasian, has blond hair, and blue eyes. He is 25 years old and married to...

Yuri "Ki" Yarrick (Ne-Suzuki): Married pairs of marines are quite rare, but Nickolai and Yuri signed up together after they got married, and have been working together ever since. Both of them joined your squad after Julian and Sandra died during the final battle on the Char Space-Platform. Yuri is an odd duck as far as marines go: she prefers Melee combat to shooting and has killed more than a few Zerglings in close quarters. Ethnically Yuri is Japanese, she met her husband at a conference in Japan on interstellar trade within the directorate when they were both in high school and they established a relationship that has lasted ever since.

Kunta Salazar: Named after the main character of the ancient american tela-novella ROOTS Kunta is a native of Brazil. He was born and raised in the capitol of Brazillia, to a pair of American ex-pats and grew up tri-lingual, Swahili, Portuguese, and English. Kunta Salazar showed an aptitude for pyro service in basic training. He has been part of your squad for three months and is completely suitable for the role. Under his armor Kunta is a mixed race Hispanic/African, with black hair in cornrows, brown eyes, and swarthy skin.

Jessica Albion: Jessica is an original member of your squad. Born in London some 27 years ago she was identified as having an unhealthy interest in fire, which was channeled constructively into service as a pyro trooper. Jessica stands 5'7' has sandy brown hair and watery blue eyes, and is not interested in the attentions of men, 'if-you-know-what-I-mean'...

Anastasia Katherine Petrove: Another native of Eastern Russia Anastasia has also been part of your squad for many years. Inspired by the actions of a UED search and rescue medic who saved her sister after a trokia accident when Anastasia was 10, she signed up for the UED Marines at 18. Now in her mid 30s Anastasia has seen too much, and feels the weight of her position keenly. Physically Anastasia stands 5'9" out of her armor, and has long blond hair and blue eyes.

Chen Meilen: An Asian woman from one of the UED colony worlds, Chen Meilen is another fairly recent addition to the squad. She is reticent about her past, but she is good at her job, having above average healing ability. You have never seen Miss Chen outside her armor, and too your knowledge neither has anyone else in the squad...

Jane Austin "Tex" Texaco: Jane is a "Ghost", the psychics with talent and training in stealth warfare and espionage. She serves as a scout for your unit and is a valuable member of your crew, but not well liked by most of the others. Part of this stems from "Tex", (as she prefers to be called,) being an outspoken advocate for the rights and well being of the Keprolu Sector natives, and part from her equally outspoken lesbian tendencies. Jane has red hair and green eyes. She is slight of stature and willow of build.

Rupert Wendel "Boxer" Jefferson: a native of a one of the fringe colonies of the UED, Rupert is a tall and strong man of African-American stock. Your team's combat engineer he can put together whatever sorts of buildings you need with his XCV suit and the raw materials required. More than once he has saved the teams bacon by building bunkers for you to hole up in till help arrived. Rupert's nickname "Boxer" relates to the fact that he's used his XCV power armor to fight 'hand-to-hand' with the Zerg several times...
