Experiment with Abigail or go to school?
(Talk to the voice.)
Despite the hunger that was starting to unravel in me, the voice of reason kicked in. Specifically in reference to the fact that it wasn't the only one making the rounds that day.
I set down my silverware and thought for a bit.
If this really was all happening, then maybe it wasn't just a one-way street. Focusing inward, I flashed back to that weird hallucination.
That voice... whatever it was...
I know it's somewhere. If this mark is the real deal and just spontaneously appeared on me one day, then I plan to spontaneously request an audience..!
And suddenly, like steel fastened into a hole, something clicked and everything was once again drowned in white.
