Chapter 14 by TheArchitect TheArchitect

Jen gets to choose again.

(Permaskirt) Seal her heels as well.

"It is only right to continue what we started. You know where these two Sealers go, don't you?"

That was almost a direct order. The thought of looking at smooth ankle clasps instead of ugly keyholes thrilled her more than it scared her, and yet Jen was not sure if that was the right thing to do. She still believed she could get rid of a thin latex skirt, but the white shoes could become more problematic.

"It's no returns, but it's us not returning to the store. Ever. Yours and no one else's."

The girl held the two Sealers in her hands. Their plain greyness was intimidating on its own. Feeling pressured, Jen decided to go the easy way.

"Permanent clothes aren't real. Of course, I'm not doing something I can't undo! I'll find something in this huge place to get them off eventually if I need. And I don't even need that so far!" — she hoped she was not lying to herself. There was nothing supporting it. Just hope.

With a single forceful effort, Jen squatted and filled her shoes with the cement-like substance of the Sealers. As they started to hiss, she exhaled as well. It felt so much easier with the decision done.

"If decisions are hard, I can make them for you. If it's ease yes, please!"

How do you turn such an offer down?
