_Grotesque_ Appearance – when attempting to use Appearance in a positive way on creatures without the Monster subtype, count it at 20 points lower until the target gets used to you.

Natural Weapons – You are in possession of a set of Natural Weapons. You are immune to Disarm attacks. However, crippling effects have a chance to disarm you instead.

Wisdom of the Ages – gain a constant, passive buff to your intelligence based on the time since your last ****.

Flight. You have a flying speed of 30 feet. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor.

Stone Skin. Being made of stone, your skin is extremely resilient. While you are not wearing armor, your Armor Class equals 12 + your Dexterity modifier. You can't use this feature if you're wearing armor.

False Appearance. While you remain motionless, you are indistinguishable from an inanimate statue of a gargoyle. You must maintain concentration during that time as if you were casting a spell.

Elemental Nature. _A gargoyle doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep. Instead of sleeping they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep

Remembering becomes so much easier when you read your stats doesn't it! Gargoyles first came into being during the archaic age due to the experimentations of magic, specifically dark magic. Powerful warlocks and wizards carved creatures from stone and imbued them with enchantments and curses to bring them to life. Since then, the number of gargoyles being carved has reduced drastically, yet somehow they still appear to be growing in numbers by themselves. How is unknown. Over time, different styles and types of gargoyles have become popular which creates a wide diversity of the creatures today. Whilst seen as familiars or pets in the past, they have now taken to their own way of life. This usually involves finding a certain area or building and acting like a statue to fool passers-byers. They seem to find this extremely amusing and are now so taken to it that they extremely dislike being ordered or controlled like they once were.

However your not into scaring people and acting a fool. Usually gargoyles are quick to put themselves in front of danger. At least that's what they said the runes on them told them to do. Like a compulsion while it glowed. Hopefully you won't, having only one rune carved into your back between your wings.

Dropping the monstrous wings slack. The first winged claw joint, gripping at your shoulders strapping itself in place. The wings drape behind you like a cape, hiding the rune beneath. Crossing your arms looking out at the bridge path before you, waiting for the night to begin. The cool wind brushing up your stone looking body. Standing in silence, with patience comes reward.

Be the statue
