Vein Wine

You get off the bus near the edge of the city of Ardetha at eight o'clock in the morning. The other riders had stared at you strangely as you traveled in your only suit. It wasn't the best, a little wrinkled, but it was the best you had. Having grown up in an orphanage, you've taken pride in your ability to get by and make a living but the recession down south has made you head north to this city in search of work. Yesterday you received a call from Carmen Vine, owner of Vein Tavern and Winery about your application to be customer service manager.

You see the hours sign on the front door indicating business hours are from two in the afternoon to ten at night. You gently rap on the front door and hear her call from inside, "It's open, come on in!".

You walk in see to a beautiful lady taking out clean wine glasses from a dish rack and placing them onto selves behind a service counter. Her emerald eyes are striking as her shoulder length blonde hair flows around her neck. She stops what she is doing an looks you over with an appraising eye and gives a very warm smile.

"I appreciate you coming in this morning to interview. My last manager quit two days ago to pursue other interests, so I'm looking to hire quickly. We've been getting a solid footing these past three months and I like to keep the momentum going." She gestures toward a door behind the counter, "Join me in my office and we'll get your interview started."

As you stroll through the winery, you see a set of stairs with a sign marked inn rooms on the left. Must be were guests spend the night if they wish you think to yourself. The chairs designs, bar counter, wooden pillars given a homey but elegant feel to the place. As you enter the office, it's a little more frugal with a desk, couple of chairs, and a computer. You take a seat in one of the chairs as Carmen sits behind the desk.

"Now can you tell me a little about yourself..."
