Unfortunate Alice

Another lesson in be careful what you wish for. Alice was a collector of all things Wonderland related, one day she bought a ring at an estate sale auction with the inscription “curious and curiouser, make a wish.”, she didn’t know it was a real magic ring made by a powerful witch who had owned the estate that gives the wisher one wish. She sat outside by herself at her garden table using her wonderland tea set and fiddled with the ring. She carelessly made the mistake of wishing out loud jokingly to experience how Alice felt at the Hatter’s tea party with eat me and drink me. She then took a sip of her tea. She began to feel dizzy, then her clothes got bigger than her, in shock and awe she managed to climb on the table before she got too small, she realized that could be a bigger mistake since any animal like an owl or the neighbor’s cat could find her, please don’t let that be the eat me, she begged of the ring…since the cake and cookies were still in the kitchen inside. Her only hope was someone would find her, or she could somehow jump to the chair which was pushed too far away from the table and maybe get inside or perhaps find a mushroom in her garden. She decided to hide behind the teapot while she got up enough courage to jump from the table.
