“Welcome to the WWL, Tess!” You smile at the manager, Mr. Powell, and shake his hand. “Now, you’ll be taken to the locker room where you can pick your ring gear in a second. First things first, though. How’d you like to take part in our yearly tournament? It’s a great way to make a splash, especially if you win. Though that’s a long shot. We’ve got ladies here who’ve been doing this for a while.”

“Wow! That’d be great.” You say, excited at the prospect. You don’t really know much, if anything, about this place. A tournament would be a great way to get acclimated! Mr. Powell nods, then beckons for you to follow him toward the locker room.

“Excellent. We’ll mark down your name on the tournament roster. You’re our 64th entrant, which means we’re all full up.” He cleared his throat. “You’re lucky. Our most aggressive wrestler has been barred from entry this year due to too many conduct violations.” He opens the door for you.

“I’ll be in my office once you’ve selected your ring gear. I’ll let you know what your matches will be in the lead-up to the tournament.” You look at him, confused.

“Lead-up?” He nods.

“Of course. We’ve still got a few more weeks, and we can’t just have you show up in the tournament with nobody knowing who you are. We’ve already got one dark horse, we don’t need another.” He chuckles, then gently guides you forward before closing the door behind you. Laid out on the bench are three outfits. One is a metallic gold string bikini with thong bottoms. The second is a black one-piece swimsuit that doesn’t look like it would fit anybody, let alone you. The third is a red sports bra and jean short shorts with no zipper to speak of. Which do you want to fight your matches in? You can’t change once you’ve chosen.
