Tower of Voices

When the website first showed up, not many people paid attention, but it soon amassed a following. It was called Tower of Voices and users could connect, multiple at a time, to see realistic moment by moment video of what seemed to be the inside of some fantastical tower in a magical world. It was fascinating, but there was no way to interact with this world on the screen until one day. An elderly man was spotted in the tower and when one of the users commented out loud the elderly man responded. It was found that speaking into a mic while connected would allow the denizens of the world to hear the speakers. Multiple people speaking at once could all still be discerned meaning you didn't have to wait your turn to speak.

The old man eventually explained what was happening at least in the context of this strange website, most people of course don't believe it to be true, but it is a fun game.

The Tower is supposedly a conduit that connects all worlds and people from our world can see and speak to the denizens of the tower. Heroes and heroines from all over the multiverse come to the tower to face the dangers and claim the treasures within. The role of you, the voices, is to choose which of the heroes and heroines who arrive are given permission to brave the tower and then guide them to victory although there's no restriction actually saying you have to guide them properly.

Today is another day of choosing and people from all over your world are logging in to choose and guide the newest chosen.
