Spectre

Although Science and the Arts have mapped a huge breadth of the Natural and Human existence, there are still some gaps which remain unexplored.

Though these gaps are small, transient, and largely impotent, machinations have come into creation, conscious or not, which can manipulate these gaps with ease and efficacy. Some were carved from from eons of a half-life, while others are brought into conception with a spark of the modern day. Where they come from is not important, though; their presence alone is a nonexistence. It is their impact on the outside world which makes their existence secure and gives them purpose.
