Sinister Urge: A Zombie Survival Story

The World has literally gone to Hell. The War on Terror escalated. Hundreds and thousands died day by day. No one knows who unleashed the Virus, but it spread across America in a matter of days. Who would have thought that the Arabs, or Russians, or CIA or whoever had it, would have found a "zombie" virus? Later, scientists would explain that the Virus works by activating the reptile brain by breaking down Adrenaline. It shuts off the higher functions, and as such bypasses the conscious mind. All that is left are the two basic scripts: Kill and Breed. In its last stages, it reworks the body's digestive system to a worm like state where enzymes break down proteins in the stomach and directly feed the "brain" Another tube feeds the same enzymes to the reproductive organs.. None of that mattered to the survivors though.
The zombies couldn't be stopped like normal people. They could die, but the virus kept them moving. It activated already the unburied dead, and it spread like wild fire. Soon, a few strongholds emerged, but these seem to be dying embers against a sea of undead flesh, and unearthy drives...

Tara's story: Tara's story takes place during the initial outbreak. She is an 18 year old senior in high school at the time, and was described as Goth/ Punk. She had dyed black hair, pale skin, and sported black and purple striped tights, a leather mini skirt with a lot of buckles, a fishnet shirt with a black leather bra beneath, cut off finger gloves, purple eyeliner, etc. Think "Suicide Girl".

Beth's Story: Beth's story takes place two years after the initial outbreak. Most of the U.S is in ruins. Roving gangs of soldiers wander the countryside. The zombies are winning. Beth, alone, contains the cure.

Jace and Kelly: A brother and sister on the run, desperately trying to find a haven of safety two months after the initial outbreak.
