Rise of Evil

The land of Aegius is built as the overworld for many, many other dimensions connecting to it. Some good, some bad, some on the fence, some not caring at all about flimsy things as morality. All the races that find themselves on Aegius come from these other realms, but only a few now reside openly in the pristine overworld...thus showing their dominance. Those that reside in Aegius comfortably are the winners of many battles and made this world their own for many generations, erecting vast kingdoms and cities in areas much like their realms of origins.

The current champion races are the just Humans in the plains, the mystical Elves in the forests, the honorable Dwarves in the mountains, and the fearsome Vash'quar (a race of humanoid Tiger warriors) in the deserts. Together, these four races formed an alliance to keep Aegius for their people and those they find worthy to live under their rule. Many foul creatures still roam the lands of the overworld, though they are being hunted back to their accursed realms.

"Evil" has faced blow after crushing blow at the hands of this alliance. To the point that throughout the endless Void between the realms, the concentration of darkness that was taking from the delicate balance of forces flow and seek out a realm perfect for it. It congeals and tries to take shape, but first...it needs a point of origin. And this would be no easy task, the realm it chooses will affect everything about it.

It's form, it's powers, it's starter minions, it's place of power, everything. But, what realm shall it choose? There are plenty to choose from, surely one of them will hold the power needed to either right the balance, or completely conquer the overworld of Aegius.
