It all began when a rat named Splinter came upon a small nest of baby turtles swimming in a strange ooze. After cleaning them off he soon discovered that the substance caused them and himself to mutate into larger anthropomorphic forms. Splinter took the turtles in and raised them as his own; training them in the ninja arts as he had learned from imitating his old owner, the late Hamato Yoshi. With his training, Splinter's sons: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, were able to stand together and vanquish Hamato Yoshi's murderer, the Shredder. From there their legend only grew as they went on to fight evils such as the mad scientist Baxter Stockman, a duel invasion from the Triceraton Republic and D'hoonibian Federation, and Lord Dragon Skull and his army of dragon warriors, all the while making friends in the form of the humans April O'Neil and Casey Jones, and fellow mutants such as Leatherhead, Mondo Gecko, and the Mighty Mutanimals, they even reunited with their long lost sister, Venus de Milo. But through it all their greatest and most persistent adversary has been Krang, the alien warlord from Dimension X.

Speaking of which, deep beneath the Earth's surface the sinister space squid was scheming in his base of operations, the now almost completely reconstructed Technodrome. With it Krang would be able to lead his armies of mutants and rock soldiers in their conquest of the Earth, but there was still one obstacle that had to be dealt with first: the Ninja Turtles.

"Those accursed turtles" Krang croaked, "every time I make a move to conquer this backwater planet those blasted terrapins get in my way!" He threw a random piece of equipment at the door with his robot body's arm.

The door opened and in stepped two of his minions, "everything okay in here, boss?" A mutant warthog with a purple Mohawk, accompanied by a rhino in military fatigues

"Quite you two! I need to come up with a plan to eliminate the Turtles and your stupidity is suffocating" Krang burped.

"Sorry, sir" Rocksteady said, "I always get like that after chili night."

"If only the mutants I created to fight them didn't have the collective IQ of a dead fish, I'd have been rid of them long ago!"

"Or if the Turtles weren't so good at fighting us" Bebop floated.

"It's too bad these turtles are so skilled in their ninja stuff, eh Bebop?"

Suddenly Krang had an epiphany "that's it these turtles are skilled in ninjitsu, but there's an entire multiverse of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. All I need to do is use the Technodrome's trans-dimensional portal to trade out our team of turtles for one that are less skilled, less disciplined and less likely to be any threat to us." Krang walked up to the trans-dimensional portal's control panel and began surveying the various universes for a group of turtles that suited his ends:

Teenage Mutant Sumo Turtles? "Too fat."

Teenage Mutant Cave Turtles? "Too primitive."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Trolls? "Too collectible."

Teenage Monster Ninja Turtles? "Too scary."

Teenage Mecha Ninja Turtles? "Too high tech."

Teenage Mutant Kunoichi Turtles? "Too sexy."

It took several hours, but eventually the rogue utrom found the universe he was looking for, "too perfect."

That night, Krang enacted his scheme. As the turtles slept, he activated the portal and switched out the turtles of his universe with their extra dimensional counterparts. Asleep in their rooms, they glowed a soft purple before disappearing in a bright flash of violet light once the light disappeared the Turtles were once again asleep in their beds as if nothing happened. But something did indeed happen, and these were not the same turtles; Krang had successfully swapped out his cryptodorian nemeses with an identical bunch. But these turtles would be no match for him, for they came from a hedonistic world where humans and mutants lived in peaceful coexistence, a world where the Turtles were celebrities who lived an indulgent lifestyle full of sex and adventure, but mostly sex.
