A sudden voice shatters the tranquil noiselessness of the atmosphere, pulling you away from your deep sleep and back into consciousness. Looking around, you see that you're in what appears to be some sort of high tech facility.

You're seated in the center of a large room in a soft white couch. Looking up, you see a man in his mid thirties sitting on an identical couch. Various light fixtures illuminate the insides of the room along with a large metal contraption that looked like something out of Star Trek.

"My name is Charles Schrödingher. Jack Worthington, you are safe."

The same voice that awakened you calls out again with an accent of either British or Australian origin. He gives you a small nod as you stare at him in confusion. With slick black hair gelled back and thick sideburns that expand into a full grown beard and mustache, his golden colored eyes scan you for a moment as he affixes the white tie of his black suit.

Taking another sip from his mysterious cup, he smacks his lips in approval as he sets it down on the floor. "Damn good tea, that. Now, let's get straight to business."

You begin to relax a little from the friendly yet professional tone of his voice.

"I'm here to offer you a great opportunity to trial generations worth of scientific research. This quantum time loophole will coordinate different spectrums of time to bring you to an alternate reality," Charles says. Seeing the confused expression on your face he quickly adds "Essentially it's a parallel universe."

You decide to just agree to do it. There won't be much to miss and who knows, maybe this parallel universe will be better than this one.
