Megan Makes Some Wishes

Megan woke up on her 18th birthday, excited about the day ahead. She got out of bed and looked in the mirror. Megan was an attractive redhead with a great body, but she never saw herself as attractive, in fact she thought she was ugly.
Megan put on a t shirt and jeans and went down the stairs, where her mother was waiting for her.
"Happy birthday!" Her mother shouted. "There's something I need to tell you. Take a seat"
Megan thought this was an odd thing to say, but she obliged her mother.
"What is it?" She said as she say on the sofa. Her mother stood in front of her.
"Well.. there's no way to say this that doesn't make me sound crazy. We can make wishes come true."
"What?"
"Every woman in our family, when we turn 18 can make all their wishes come true."
"Ok, good prank." Megan said sarcastically then got up to leave the room.
"Megan... just try it." Her mother watched her go back upstairs to her room.
Megan went back into her room, confused by her mothers strange actions. Why would she say that? Would it be crazy to try it?
