Indian in Britain

Chapter 1 by btown btown

I scanned the room of the large dancing floor for anyone I knew from school. The party was in full swing with the dancing and drinking in full gusto. The smell of cigarette smoke and spilled beers was present in the living room, giving off the feeling of an English Pub at happy hour.

I had decided to come to this party on a whim to get a little more accustom to the strange new surroundings. Coming from a rich, traditionalist Indian family living in a mansion on the outskirts of Mumbai, I was bewildered at the sights, smells and general feeling of England's cool and rainy climate and urban setting. The largest shock to my sensibilities was the fact that acts of affection were so accepted in England that it was not unusual to see a couple making out (among other things) in a small alleyway with little regard for personal virtue. This shock coupled with the feeling of liberation gave me the feeling of being able to steer my own destiny to whatever ends I wished.

A small, slim girl entered the hall from the front entrance, along with another, taller girl hot on her heels. The small girl was looking to be around 5'2" with hair that grew to her shoulders and was brushed to cascade to one side of her head. Her pale blue eyes with their slightly sad looking shape to give off a look of youth and innocence, her tanned skin and her slim body with those perky C-cup breasts and a pert nose gave me pause as I was not used to being around such a delicate creature.

Her friend on the other hand had long red hair done in a braid that cascaded down her back and pale, very freckled skin that looked as if the sun had never shone upon it. Her green eyes had the look of a quick witted woman and her B-cup breasts and toned 5'9" body gave off the feeling of a model or athletic star.

The two women walked over to the bar and ordered some drinks from the barkeeper. After about an hour, the tall redhead spoke something to her friend and walked outside of the hall. The blonde girl sat at the bar, looking around on occasion.
