Welcome to Bloom Academy, a private school in upstate New York that has often prided itself in turning out individuals with exceptional creative drives and turning wild childs into an upstanding and functioning adult. Like a baby flower, they will help you bloom hence the name. The college has often been compared to the new Ivy Elite, and somehow you were invited to come attend the academy.

Lucas Parker tipped the taxi cab and watched as it drove away leaving him with his suitcases outside the old Victorian era building. He walked up to the front door as he saw a gang of students just like him, mostly ladies who gave him strange looks as he entered into the academy. The sign which read "Bloom Academy Welcomes it's New Students" plastered all over the front desk and reception area he presumed. As soon as Lucas stepped inside there was an older lady at her computer typing away on some paperwork when she looked up from behind her monitor in shock. She stood up and smiled widely as if they had been best friends for years. Her hair was white but still very well kept; her face showed no signs of wrinkles or age spots. It seemed that this woman knew how to take care of herself even after such long periods of time. She wore glasses on top of her head while wearing a blue blouse underneath her black skirt along with stockings and high heels.

The young man took a deep breathe before stepping onto the carpeted flooring and approached her smiling. "Hi," he said with a nervous tone in his voice.

She giggled as she shook out her hand. "It's nice to meet you! I'm Mrs. Jenkins!"

He nodded back as he placed down his bags by his feet. "Nice to meet ya too."

Mrs. Jenkins then pointed towards the office door. "I'll have your student id ready shortly. Please feel free to get settled in now though."

After grabbing his luggage Lucas went through the hallways until finding himself in another hallway filled with doors lining both sides of the corridor. There were two girls walking ahead of him, their voices echoing throughout the halls as they laughed amongst themselves about something. They didn't seem bothered by anyone else around them as they continued to laugh. One of the girl's brown eyes met with his green ones for a brief moment, causing her to look away quickly. This made him smile as he thought nothing more than that. A few minutes later he found himself standing right beside his own dorm room where he could hear people talking loudly within the walls. He knocked once on the door frame before opening it slowly to see what was going on. Inside there were four boys sitting on the bed chatting together. Their ages ranged anywhere between eighteen to twenty, so he figured this must be his new roommate group. After taking a quick glance inside the room Lucas noticed that most of these kids appeared to know each other already judging by the way they talked. However he wasn't sure if any of them would want someone like him living here with them.

One of the boys got up first and approached him. "Hey there," he greeted him. "My name's Derek Smith. You're probably wondering why we've never seen you around before."

Lucas shrugged his shoulders as he sat down on the edge of the bed. "Not really. Just transferred here recently."

Derek grinned at him as he held out his hand. "Well welcome to our little group!"

His handshake felt strong against his palm and he returned the same gesture back. "Thanks," he replied politely.

The others turned their attention to him as well. "You can call me Chester," one boy stated nervously.

Another guy named Thomas spoke next. "And I am Tom. Good to see they got all the lads lumped together."

Charlie raised an eyebrow and chuckled lightly at his statement. "Yeah...they really do seem to be cramming us in."

A tall blonde haired male stood up and offered his hand out to Lucas. "My name is Charlie. And this asshole right here is my brother..."

Tom rolled his eyes and snorted in annoyance. "Oh please! We are not assholes. My name is Tommy, and I am NOT your brother!"

The rest of the boys laughed at his comment.

Thomas smirked at his friend. "We need a nickname for him though..."

Chester tilted his head curiously. "Like what? Something creative maybe?"

Tommy sighed heavily and shook his head. "Something that fits him in with us"

Derek cleared his throat. "What about 'Lumber Jack'?"

All three brothers burst out laughing at the suggestion.

Lucas blinked rapidly several times before looking back at Chester. "Really? That sounds dumb."

They all stared at him blankly as if he had just insulted them somehow. "No seriously, that's funny!"

"So what should we go with instead?" Thomas asked impatiently.

Chester scratched the side of his head as he pondered over what to say. "How about...Luca?"

This caused them all to erupt in laughter again. Even Lucas couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the idea of calling him Luca. His mind began to wander and think of things that might happen between himself and this place. All of his fantasies started coming alive and he wondered what exactly was going to occur during his stay at school. He decided to let those thoughts remain hidden deep inside his mind. For now he wanted to enjoy being part of the group and getting used to everything around him.

Chester looked over at Lucas and smiled "Derek got a private suite, and Tommy and Charlie have their own room. Guess that makes you my roommate?"

Lucas nodded. "Yeah...I guess."

"That sucks," Tom grumbled. "Be careful with this scared one, he'll just stay inside all day."

Chester scoffed at his words. "Don't worry. Once we get to know each other better, you won't ever wanna leave our room anyway."

Lucas narrowed his eyes as he glanced over at the wall clock above the desk. "I'm gonna go explore a bit before unpacking my room."

Chester shrugged his shoulders. "Sure thing. We'll see you at dinner."

Lucas bid them farewell and continued to explore Bloom Academy.
