Enterprise: Shoal Leave

aka A Night With T'Pol

Chapter 1 by chriscole chriscole

Lt. Christopher's personal log. August 10th, 2151. The Enterprise is due for a maintenance overhaul that will take three days. The maintenance will take place at Outpost 212. The Outpost is currently under expansion itself, soon to become a Starbase. Due to its proximity to the pleasure planet of Risa, Captain Archer has stated that any personnel that has any shore leave owed them may take it during the maintenance period.

I have a few days saved up, but I'd rather hold onto it and use it in the new year when I can take a full week. Because I wouldn't be taking leave, and because I'd probably be rather bored running redundant diagnostics over the three days, I volunteered for an away mission.

On our way to Outpost 212, we will be passing a newly discovered planetoid named Shoal (so called for it's shallow lakes that cover 90% of its surface). The Captain wants to send a two-man away team to study Shoal while the Enterprise is undergoing maintenance. I quickly volunteered, though I almost wished I hadn't when I discovered that the other member of the team is Commander T'Pol. I have nothing against the Commander. In fact, I find her extremely attractive. It's just that I've never known how to act around Vulcans. If I try to be funny, they just stare at me. If I try to be serious, they still just stare at me. If I try to be intelligent, they stare at me with an eyebrow raised...

I guess I will just have to try to keep things completely work-like. Maybe I'll work on my programming when we're camped at night. Still, I'm looking forward to exploring Shoal! It's an exciting opportunity.

Lt. Christopher secured the shuttle and stepped outside into the bright sunlight. He hoisted his backpack onto his shoulders and adjusted the straps on it and then on his equipment built. He was wearing exploration gear that consisted of pants with multiple pockets and a short-sleeved elemental shirt.

Commander T'Pol was wearing a Vulcan version of the same outfit. It had far fewer pockets and was much tighter fitting, but it served the same purpose of protecting one from the sun, wind and rain. The brown outfit did an fantastic job of showing off T'Pol's curves which just made Christopher even more nervous around her. Her hair was cut short in the Vulcan style and her face displayed that slightly amused stoicism that T'Pol excelled at.

T'Pol turned to Christopher and he realized he had been staring at how her pants hugged her perfectly round bottom. He quickly looked up at her and felt awkward not knowing if she had caught him or not.

"I suggest we make for Lake 3 immediately and set up base camp," she said. Before leaving the Enterprise, we had decided to set up base camp at Lake 3 (there were fourteen total separate bodies of water, and even though some were no larger than ponds, there were named Lake 1-14 for reasons of simplicity) as it had a small copse of trees that could be used as shelter, and had the best access to the rest of the Lakes. We had landed the shuttle on the only spot large enough and firm enough, but it was too far from some of the proposed points of study to use it as our base. If a storm hit, or we had any other problems, we could always come back to the shuttle for more equipment or better shelter. "We should be able to make the camp site in 2.5 hours."

Christopher agreed with her and they set off. Just over 2.5 hours later, they arrived at the spot. It was very picturesque; a small peninsula jutting out onto Lake 3 with some small trees that resembled miniature oaks, and soft grass with a few large boulders here and there. The water of the lake was crystal clear and Christopher could see the soft, sandy bottom continue far out. Lake 3 was only 0.7 km wide, and from their initial readings no more than 2.4 meters deep at its deepest.

They wasted no time setting up a tent for their equipment and a tent for shelter/sleeping. After depositing their personal items and setting up a small travel table with their equipment, they took a moment to have a bite to eat and refresh. Christopher admired the scenery, while T'Pol tested her recording and analyzing equipment.

"We should begin with Lake 3," T'Pol said after they had rested exactly thirty minutes. "If you will take samples of the flora at camp, I will collect readings from the lake."

Christopher nodded and began to calibrate his hand scanner. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see T'Pol place her collection gear on the ground and begin to remove her clothes. He turned slightly, pretending to be looking at his scanner, and watched her surreptitiously. She removed her top, folded it and placed in on the ground. Underneath she was wearing a very tight light blue undershirt with thin shoulder straps and that left her flat belly exposed. Then she removed her boots and pants and was wearing matching undershorts that were also extremely tight fitting. Christopher admired the curve of her bottom and the tanned skin of the bottoms of her slightly exposed ass cheeks as she folded her pants and placed them with her top and boots. Then she picked up her equipment and placed it in a small waterproof satchel over her shoulder. She waded into the water, scanner in hand.

Christopher continued to watch her ass wiggle until she was well out into the lake, the water still only coming up to her belly.

What should Lt. Christopher do?
