Diversity Training

A Nurse Abroad

Chapter 1 by sindermann sindermann

Gale Harvey arrived at the hospital at her usual hour. She changed into her scrubs, put on her running shoes, and plowed through another day in the surgery dept. She was in an operating room with a surgeon she hated. Dr. Polk. Polk treated every case like it was the end of the world; screaming at his coworkers and assistants. She couldn't say anything if she wanted to keep her job, so she just endured the torment.

Most of the surgeons were nice to her, a large factor in that being that she had a pretty face with pouty lips, brilliant blue eyes, and a knockout body with firm F cup breasts, a slim waist, wide hips, and cherry shaped ass. She'd went home with a few surgeons in her time, but for the most part kept her professional life and personal life separate. Dr Polk did not care for any of that. He was a dinosaur in the department. He had over 40 years of experience and was pushing 80 years old, but acted as if the people in the room with him were not there to help, but rather that they were ones at fault when his shaky hands botched a surgery. Gale was often the target of his ridicule.

Ten grueling hours later, she was able to sit down and check her company e-mail. "Diversity Training Initiative" caught her eye. She was expecting another message about being sensitive to other culture's views on medicine, but was surprised to see that her hospital had enrolled in an exchange program of sorts.

Gale perked up. She had taken some foreign language courses in college to pad out her humanities credits. She scrolled down, and saw it. She clicked "enroll" on the country, closed the window, and clocked out.

A week later, she saw the email "You've been accepted! You'll be travelling to..."

where is she going?
