In an ancient, mythical China, where gods and demons both bless and torment the mortal realm, a single, humble individual was charged by the Great Buddha himself to save the world... to travel west and seek the Xutras and bring them back to the East, so that all may learn of its teachings and spread peace upon the land.
It was not a journey without hardship and peril however... the sometimes petty and jealous gods and lesser deities not always in their best minds when dealing with mortal men (and women). The ravenous demons and monsters had even less regard for these soft squishy fleshy beings that tried to share this earth with them. Oh they had their way with these mortals, especially if the village was a smaller one and less likely to find them out and chase them away, for the demons had allure not unlike the sultry gods and goddesses themselves with whom they often battled.
All this meant was that the young and virile monk Tang Sanzang had a larger target on his cock than most... due to his particularly special heritage producing within him a Godly Seed. It's power was so potent that the first demon to lay hands on him would surely drain the monk until he was no more, then use this power to conquer all the realms both below and above. So the Goddess Guanyin arranged for three powerful disciples for the monk to meet on his journey who would serve and protect him on this most difficult quest...
