Butterflies

Exploring a park, trying to keep clothes - the normal

Chapter 1 by zaick zaick

(After some hiatus, I've returned to writing. In light of having a more busy job life of, well, writing, I've decided to focus on actually finishing some of these scenarios rather than having the originally intended 50-100 endings. I've always intended to have a focus on choice, but honestly, I just don't have time for that. So! Over the next couple months expect my stories to actually have some finished choices, and I can expand from there. Thanks!)

Arianna has always loved butterflies, and her job now has given her happiness she always wanted. Recently, she heard of a new monarch, richly diverse in color from the others native to the area beside the flower garden of the city's park. She began early in the day, and headed to the gigantic forest park. She had with her her boxes to catch deceased butterflies, or even caterpillars or cocoons. Despite being a little dated in practice, she also still carried a net. She wore a sundress with a slip underneath, and a wide brimmed hat on her head.

She arrived at the park in the midst of the new garden, and moved up and down the rows of plants. She is not the only one here, but it is rather early, and the park tended not to bustle up until later in the day. Arianna is not certain how many days she might have to try to be here to observe the butterfly, but she is certain she will, and will try and try again until she does. Finding remnants of the monarch, or caterpillars and cocoons are all important.

She could either investigate the forest directly flush the garden for any hint of safer, cocooned life, or try and be still and watch for butterflies in the center of the garden.

Where does Arianna look?
