A Special Costume

I started writing Gender Transformation (a genre I've loved for as long as I can remember) stories back in 2017. "A Special Costume" has been written in April 2018, and it's my 1st TG book and 3rd story. I've been a part of CHYOA community for a while, but this is my first post. For the occasion, I've checked this story, and realized how poor my English was 4 years ago (it's still far from good, but I'm learning), so I've fixed a few hundred mistakes. I hope you'll enjoy David's and Jane's adventure, and that you'll share with us your take on it. Jane is walking by the streets, when she finds a poster: "Halloween Party 2018". She likes parties, but they often seem the same old story: you find a costume, you drink, you have fun with your friends and you come back home really late, without any energy to study the next morning.

Every costume she had chosen in the previous years was either too boring or too revealing: being a woman is hard sometimes.

It's so much easier for her friend David: with just a white shirt and a black tie, and he becomes "Chuck". Or he picks a yellow wig and a funny costume to become "Goku". He doesn't even enjoy parties, especially because he hates loud music. But wherever Jane goes, he follows.

That's because of his not-so-obvious crush. Damn shyness. They're just friends, and that's better than nothing, he guesses.

Finally, Jane decides to text her friend. He's always so fast to answer her, what a nice guy.

"Hey David! What's up? Do you wanna go to the Halloween party this year?"

10 seconds later "Hi Jane, what a pleasure to hear you! Of course!!!”.

"Thanks! This will be fun. I've got just one problem: which costume should I buy?"

"Why do you care so much, Jane? Nobody will remember! Just pick the one from the last year."

"You don't understand... people care! They don't say anything to you because you're such a nerd! :P"

"Hahaha... ok! See each other this evening, and let's find something fun for the party".

"Great, I knew I could count on you! Why don't we find two related costumes? I guess it would be fun".

"What are you talking about? Something like Batman and Robin?"
