A HYPNOTIC TALE!

A HYPNOTIC TALE!

The Adventure Begins

Chapter 1 by Holly14695 Holly14695

18 year old Abi Forrest knew she had problems. Having been by a gang of youths and suffered unspeakable acts at their hands, and then having to face them again when they came before the courts, it was hardly surprising she had problems. But she was both appalled and shocked when her mother told her she had made her an appointment with a private hypnotherapist to help her cope and put what had happened behind her.

She had argued and begged her mother not to make her go but her mother was adamant and insisted she knew what was best for Abi. But the thought of having to talk about the things those animals had done to her with a total stranger was too awful to contemplate!

It was all pointless. Her mother would not hear no for an answer and so it was that at 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon in the late summer, she sat with her mother in the waiting room of what was clearly a very expensive suite of offices.

Her mother had informed Abi that she would go in and see the hypnotherapist first and explain what had happened to Abi and why she wished the hypnotherapist to help her. Abi tried to get her mother to understand that she was no longer a child and was quite capable of talking to the hypnotherapist alone, if she really had to go through this ordeal on top of all else she had been to contend with through absolutely no fault of her own. But it was like talking to a brick wall! Her mother would not hear of her going in until she had satisfied herself that the hypnotherapist was competent and would treat Abi properly. Abi looked at her mother and wondered just what being ‘treated properly’ meant.

But further argument and speculation became irrelevant when the hypnotherapist’s secretary called for Abi to go in only for her mother to make it very clear that she wished to speak to the hypnotherapist first and, before the secretary could say another word, had walked past her and entered the office leaving the secretary somewhat bemused and Abi blushing in embarrassment at her mother’s behaviour.

It was barely two or three minutes before her mother returned looking decidedly angry! “It would seem a mother’s opinion is of no importance. If it were not for the fact that I paid up front, I would take you elsewhere! Go on! Don’t just sit there, go in and I shall wait in the car.” She turned on her heel and marched out leaving Abi grinning. But then the smile evaporated as she realised she still had to go and recount what she had been through with a total stranger. Steeling herself, she walked to the hypnotherapist’s door, knocked and then entered.

She closed the door and froze as she stared at the hypnotherapist. She had been expecting some fat old man but the first shock was that it was a girl! A girl not much older than herself. The second shock was that she was absolutely stunning and when she smiled in greeting, Abi felt herself going week at the knees.

“Come and sit down please,” the therapist said, indicating a chair in front of her. “I am sorry if I upset your mother but I prefer to get to know you alone first. Oh, I am sorry, let me introduce myself. I am Sophie Price. You may call me Miss Price or Sophie, whichever you are more comfortable with. Hopefully, I am going to be your hypnotherapist Abi, and help you sort out your problems; put all the nasty things that have happened to you where they belong – in the past and no longer important in your life.” She extended her hand which Abi took and shook, feeling an electric shock course through her body as their hands clasped together.

The greeting over, Sophie asked Abi a few questions about herself and noted the answers on her file before going on to talk about the background to the horrific events Abi had been subject to. As Sophie made notes on her file, Abi took the opportunity to look around her room. She sat at a desk, on the wall behind which was a hypnotist’s spinning wheel. On the other side of the room there was a bed with a courtesy curtain around it and, on the opposite side of the room, a more casual couch with a chair beside it, all of which was pretty much what Abi had expected to see.

As she finished making her notes, Sophie looked at Abi and said, “I must say you are a remarkably beautiful girl Abi. I am not usually so lucky with my patients!”

Abi blushed deeply and barely audibly whispered, “thank you, Miss Price,” still finding it difficult to come to terms with how beautiful Sophie herself was and knowing the butterflies in her stomach were not entirely down to the strangeness of her surroundings and why she was here.

Smiling again, Sophie, knowing her pulse was racing at the vision of this beautiful girl, said, “well, I think it is time we made a start. Nothing bad is going to happen to you whilst you are here. I shall put you into a hypnotic trance, which is just like being asleep, and then try and talk through the things which disturb you. Is that ok with you?”

Blushing, Abi replied, “yes. Ok,” trembling a little at the thought of being in this beautiful woman’s control.

“Great”, Sophie said as she stood up. “Would you like to come and lay on the couch for me, please?”

Her legs trembled as she rose and walked to the couch and lay down on it. Sophie helped her onto the couch and then sat down beside her. “Comfortable?” she asked.

“Blushing as she looked at her, “Abi replied in a whisper, “yes, thank you.”

“OK, then let’s begin,” Sophie said, her own heart pounding and her pulse racing.

Can Sophie remain professional with Abi?
