For ages giants and humans have fought and killed each other for as long as both races can remember. Giants loved the taste of humans and raided human settlements to capture and eat humans. Humans sent specialized giant slaying parties to hunt them down and kill them in their sleep. This continued for centuries, until now. In the modern era, humans and giants now live peacefully in either human cities or giant cities. Due to giants' massive size (on average being 180 feet tall) and humans' massive numbers, society has greatly advanced with little issue, except one. Giants still love the taste of humans, but as equals now can't consume them, though they can taste them. In giant cities, restaurants exist that allow giants to temporarily rent humans to flavor and taste in these restaurants. They can taste, lick, suck, swirl people in their mouths as much as they want, but can't swallow. This is the situation that Jack now finds himself in.

It is a city built from the ground up to allow small and big people to live together in safety and harmony, where the future the rest of the world only dreams of is being built, day by day. Of course, not all is perfect in Lemuel City. Old grudges routinely reemerge, incidents happen daily, and discrimination between sizes is still strong, but, for the time being, the dream lives on. At least, if you keep yourself away from the dark underbelly of Lemuel City.
