You opt to...
wander into Delé Forest to gather berries
Delé Forest was home to the Centaurs, a generally friendly people, and so you saw no issue with detouring to gather additional food for your travels. It's dense foliage provided perfect cover from any Undyr and you had heard of villagers travelling here during times of low rainfall to help maintain food stocks - you were confident that you had little to worry about. You soon found bushes brimming with delicious red berries and streams of clean water that basked in the rays of sunlight peeking through the trees. The wind whispered to you as it caressed the greenery and the wildlife sung a peaceful melody as you wandered. Perhaps you were drawn in a little too much, as you soon found yourself lost. Nightfall soon followed and the twilight graced the forest as you fell into a deep sleep, resting on the fertile soil and listening to the moisture dripping from the leaves that sorrounded you.
You awoke at dawn, happy to find yourself and your belongings intact. You felt a freedom that had almost been taken from you only days ago, so you let your hair down. It flowed down to your peachy butt, lingering on it's curve. You stripped yourself free of your clothes and embraced the nature, bathing in a stream and cleansing yourself completely of the events of the last few days. What had happened to your father did not seem real. With your smooth skin lathered in the pure waters, you decided to read the note that he had left for you.
"Maye, I want you to understand that I fought for you and your mother. Nothing short of a miracle will protect me from the Undyr and I hope that my sacrifice, and that of my kinsmen, was not in vain. I hope that you are safe. Travel to Yalen, the walls are strong. And do not mourn for my passing, I am with your mother now."
With a tear, you toss the note into the stream in which you bathed, and after washing your clothes and redressing, you press on into the forest. Around an hour of stumbling over roots later, you discover a clearing with the ruins of a watchtower, but the bottom floor had remained relatively intact, with a trapdoor still in place.
You..
