update for 2022

So I'm back again for a regular check-in on this story and it still blows my mind how many views and comments this story has gotten and I can't thank you guys enough for that.

now to the story itself, I don't want to say it's dead but I also have to be honest with myself about how the story will be going forward too. the chance of me continuing this story is not big but maybe I will come back to it and make the story justice one day.

I do kind of want to fix the early story as this was my first one and it is full of mistakes and horrible grammar overall, but now with my second story, which I think is better and was written much later in my "career" is probably the one I will be focusing on the most going forward.

I am however open to the idea of an editor if someone likes this story and wants to edit it in their free time maybe. I can't pay anyone anything at this time and this would only be voluntarily in that case. in the same vein, I'm also open to the idea of someone continuing the main branch as a shadow writer or something as I will most likely not be continuing this story any time soon.

So in conclusion this story will most likely not be updated anytime soon unless other authors choose to add to it, and I would recommend my other story "A new hive mind in town" as that one is pretty similar in premise and is also of a much higher quality overall and will probably be updated more than this story hopefully.
