Her mouth widened to sink her fangs into Shiro’s neck… then suddenly halted an inch away. She gnashed her teeth, finding it impossible to close her mouth entirely. She caught sight of something at the corner of her mouth, realizing what was going on slowly.

Sakura had grabbed the rope that bound her, looping it around her head while she was focused on Shiro and went through her mouth like a set of reigns. The snake woman thrashed, trying to throw off the peasant girl but her position was too awkward to get any good leverage on her, Sakura’s weak little arm hanging on for dear life as she tried to yank the demoness away from her rescuer.
